Dumpster Rental Cost Averages and Variables
2019 National Average costs for roll-off dumpster rentals
Currently, average rental prices range between $220 to $780 per week. Typically, $363 per week is the average most remodelers can expect. Take a look at the scope of your project and expected amount of refuse you will produce from it on a weekly basis and go from there.
Additional Considerations and Costs
Large amounts of brick, concrete, or other heavy materials, requires a special dumpster designed for heavier loads.
We will accommodate you if you need to use the dumpster for longer than you planned.
Restrictions and Fines
If you exceed the weight limit of your dumpster, it may not be able to be hauled away. This will incur a fine. There are also fines associated with disposal of banned items like tires, paint cans, refrigerants, batteries, hazardous materials. Fines for restriction violations can run as high as $500.
Be aware of hazardous materials like asbestos 1, pesticide, propane 2 tanks, refrigerants, etc. Do not throw them in your rented dumpster. Fines can run as much as $500 and the materials returned to you. Call your local Waste Management department to arrange for safe disposal.
Junk removal service
You might consider an alternative to dumpster rental. Junk removal services will come to you, pick up debris and remove it from your location. Charges can range from $100 for small loads to up to $500 or more for large loads.
If you do not have a driveway to place your container and need to place it on a public road/street, it will usually require a permit. This costs an average of $40-$75 per dumpster, per week. Your permit fee may vary depending on what state, city, and/or county you are renting the dumpster in.
Remote delivery locations
If delivery of your container is very far, we may charge you an additional fee per mile to cover the cost of fuel. These fees are dependent on current gas prices.
